Gaijin Travels Mixed Media Artwork

Welcome to the world as seen through the eyes of a 'gaijin' (the name for a foreigner / outsider in Japan). This series of artwork features my lovely avatar, who usually has at least one cat with her wherever she goes, or one of her friends. She loves to travel but spends most of her time in Japan visiting, strangely enough, places I myself have been.

The artwork reflects traditional Japanese woodcut designs juxtaposed with modern manga. Most pieces are small (5x7, 8x8, 12x12) but there might be some bigger ones in the works when my avatar starts traveling around India :)
